T&F   5-18-2013  Pirate freshman Brooke Dixon brought a close to the 2013 track season with a stellar performance in the women's shot put competition at the State Championships in San Mateo.  Brooke hit a personal record of 43-feet 2-inches, moving to No. 2 all-time in school history.  Her performance was good for a fifth place finish. Meanwhile,  Jessica Johns closed out her Pirate career placing 12th in the hammer throw final, but still holds top-10 rankings in the shot put, discus throw, and is No. 2 all-time in the hammer throw.  READ MORE...

 T&F   5-4-2013  The Pirates' men and women's track and field teams have seven athletes travel to the SoCal Track & Field Finals Saturday, with Jessica Johns  (Hammer and Discus) and Brooke Dixon (Shot Put) advancing to the State Championships.  Also competing for the orange and black were Andisha Steward (Discus), Amber Panapa (Hammer Throw), Sabrina Sewell (3k Steeplechase), Terrance Nunnery (Long Jump), and Tara Johnson (400 meters), Johnson was named All-Southern California in the 400 meters with her seventh place finish.  Golf   5-6-2013  The Pirate golf team ended its 2013 season at the SoCal Regional Championships on Monday at Costa Mesa Country Club.  The Pirates posted a team score of 782 in the two-round meet as host Orange Coast was first with a 1-over par 721 and WSC champion College of the Canyons finished second at 733.  Hamish Gardner led VC with a 73-78, 151 and Chad McLay posted a 78-77, 155.   READ MORE...
