WTen  5-1-2011 Five members of the Ventura College women's tennis team represented the Pirates at the 111th Annual Ojai Tennis Tournament over the weekend.  Sophomore Ariel Bergthold was the top finisher in singles competition advancing to the round of 32 before falling in a close match, 7-6, 6-3.  Carolyn Morris and Layne Gallimore also competed for VC.  In doubles, the duo of Jessica Hinds and Katie Power advanced to the round of 32 with a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 win.  Berthold and Gallimore also saw action in doubles at the Ojai.
