The
Pirate's 2009-10 season opener
has been set. They will
play Los Angeles Southwest
College at 3:00 pm in the first
round of the
Vaquero Shootout at
Glendale College on Thursday
November 20. The last time
the Pirates opened their season
in Glendale, they lost to LA
Southwest, 55-48, in 2004.
Tournament brackets have also
been released for the
VC-Kiwanis Tournament of
Champions, with the Pirates
hosting Laney College at 6:00 pm
in their home-opener on Nov. 27.
Ventura will play Sacramento in
the first game of the
Tom Gilcrest Invitational at
the College of the Sequoias in
Visalia on Dec. 3.
