Four Pirates were voted onto Western State
Conference North Division All-Conference team at
the post-season coaches meeting on February 24,
while another received Honorable Mention
consideration. The Ventura All-Conference
team members include sophomores Jenelle
Conklin, Indira
Kaljo, and Eja
Wong and freshman Michelle
Santizo. Freshman Julie
Heurung was named Honorable Mention
All-Conference.
"I think it is great for these five individuals to be
honored by our conference," said Coach Mircetic,
"But at the same time we are also focused on our group
success. Our team GPA of 3.35 in the fall was a great
achievement for our entire team, as was winning the league
with a 12-0 record. Now we are focused on getting a
top seed in the playoffs and using that as a springboard to
achieving more in the post-season as a team."
