Gary Amar (Speech)

Speech class is one of those classes that
students usually put off until the very last
minute but then the days finally comes when the
only class left to take is speech. As I was
signing up for my speech course, I chose
Professor Gary Amar because I had heard great
things about him. I choose Professor Amar as my
favorite teacher tonight because he was the one
teacher who made class interesting.
Everyday in class he would always have a life
story to tell us that was related to what we
were learning that night. Professor Amar is
very easy to talk to and I could tell right away
that he genuinely cares about his students. I
have never had a teacher that truly cares about
his job as much as he did—he genuinely loves
being in the classroom. I have learned a lot
from his speech class that will benefit me in
the future. I can’t completely say that I love
public speaking now that I have completed his
class but I can say that I feel a lot more
comfortable with it. Thank you for being such a
great teacher, Professor Amar. You definitely
made class enjoyable.
