English is one of those subjects that I always thought was cruel and unusual punishment.  This attitude stayed with me until my second semester at VC. I enrolled in English 1A with a teacher by the name of Armstrong. As the semester progressed I was stunned to realize that Dr. Dianne Armstrong was my favorite teacher. I would always have a smile on my face after every class.

She would say that her lectures were boring and nobody listened, I have to disagree. I could listen to her teach for hours. Dianne Armstrong is one of the most intelligent; beautiful both inside and out, confident and knowledgeable person I have ever met. She cares, so much, about each individual student and their needs. She taught me how to write and to enjoy it!  My essays improved greatly and several were incredible. With her guidance my grammar improved to a college level. She created a learning style that allowed me to  enjoy a subject that I once disliked.

Mrs. Armstrong you have inspired me in many ways. I will take everything you have taught me and keep it forever.
You have inspired wonderful changes in my life and in me, and that is why you are my favorite teacher.
