In Mr. Pendleton's history class lectures are turned into vivid story telling of past events and class participation is turned into a competitive race of who can answer the most questions. Mr. Pendleton shows a love for teaching that is extremely hard to find elsewhere. His enthusiasm for history rubs off on almost everyone, which opens the door for a whole class effort. In each class I can expect to see a vibrant and animated teacher. When it comes to teaching Mr. Pendleton is like a mail man, you can expect him to deliver no matter what the weather or circumstance. If I were to give him a nickname it would definitely be the Energizer Bunny, because he will most certainly keep going.

I can remember one day when I was not feeling well and I thought about staying home, but I said to myself if Mr. Pendleton can come to class everyday upbeat and cheery then my 19 year old self most certainly can. It is his open attitude towards each student that helps him win over the entire class. I would describe Mr. Pendleton as dependable, encouraging, active, spirited, insightful and a lover of history. After one heartfelt history class with him I became hooked for the whole semester. I looked forward to class time with him, because I could count on a passionate performance of history being retold. I want you to know that your hard work and dedication does not go unappreciated, thank you for a wonderful semester and experience Mr. Pendleton.
