2008 was one of the most difficult times of my life with the passing of the person I loved more than anything. With the sudden death of my father I found it impossible to concentrate in school.  For the first time in my life learning became a hassle for me. No matter how hard I tried, school seemed absurd.  Learning just wasn’t very important.  Professor Sanchez was the teacher who changed my perspective, by constantly proving to me that learning, no matter how sad you are ….is magical.

By just making learning intriguing and just plain fun, Professor Sanchez inspired me to want to learn more. I can recall days that the only motivation that I had to go to school was knowing I had his class that day. He challenged me to work harder and do better not only in his class, but in school in general.

Professor Sanchez brought to me all the things mentioned above, and other gifts that I probably will come to realize as time goes by, and by doing so my motivation came roaring back. I am now working on attaining academic scholarships by raising my GPA.

I’d like to thank Professor Sanchez for being a creative, motivational, influential, and fun loving professor.
