Registration will be in the
Athletic
Event Center Physical Education/Athletics Division Office
for ALL camps.
Walk-up
Registration will begin 1 hour prior to camp on the first
day of camp.
The Ventura College Cheer Camp is a non-competitive
camp emphasizing the fundamentals of cheerleading in
a fun and safe environment. The camp curriculum
covers the basics in stunt technique, cheer-style
dance, sideline cheering, jumps, and crowd
communication skills. Campers can use the techniques
taught at our camp to cheer on the athletic teams at
their school and in their community. This camp is
also beneficial to students who are interested in
pursuing cheerleading in junior high or high school
with our mock tryout and judging tips. All campers
will receive individual attention in small groups
from the two time National Champion Ventura College
Cheerleaders. Instruction will accommodate
beginning, intermediate, advanced, and elite skill
level.
